Kristina Jo Brown
Kristina Jo (Moore) Brown, age 43, was born on August 31, 1980, in Springfield, MO and left this world too soon on July 20th, 2024.
Kristina was preceded in death by her father, Roosevelt Moore and her brother, Harold Moore.
She is survived by her children, Mikaela Brown and Andrew Brown of the home; Chris Brown, father to Mikaela and Andrew; Aunt Louise King of Springfield, MO; and Uncle Johnny Moore of Glendale, AZ; and many more family members who loved her dearly.
Kristina was raised by her Aunt Louise from the age of four after the passing of her father. He wanted his sister (Louise) to raise her for him with the love he knew she would get. They had many cherished memories together (brownie outings, buying a car, birthday parties, holidays, and Kiltie parades.)
Kristina graduated from Central High School in 1998. A very important part of her high school years was being a Kiltie with the Kiltie Drum and Bugle Corps. Kilties continued to be near and dear to her heart throughout the years and she continued to be an active alumni.
After graduation she went to work in retail and ventured out into the world getting her own apartment and meeting her husband to be, Christopher Brown. Together they welcomed two beautiful children to the world and being their mother was what she loved most.
She devoted her life to them and stayed home to raise them and homeschooled them. She was a strict and awesome teacher.
Kristina touched so many lives in her short time here on earth. She will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious smile, and her love for family and friends. She was the one we would always go to for an answer. She would do anything for anyone and kept in touch with distant relatives – she loved putting (special) pictures and knowledge of family together in books.
She was truly a bright light in this world, and it got a little darker when she left.
