Debra Lynn Childress

Debra Lynn Childress, Summerville, South Carolina, was born July 27, 1951, in Fordland, Missouri. She departed this life September 17, 2024, in Summerville Hospice House at the age of 73 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Lillian (Randolph) Cook; her daughter, Kim Fitzgerald; and her brother, Richard “Rick” Cook.

She is survived by her husband, Lance Childress of the home; children, Jared Fitzgerald, California, Tyler Tarr, Marshfield, Mikka Tarr, Marshfield; siblings, Gary (Doris) McFarland, Marshfield, Larry (Cora) McFarland, Seymour, Mike (Karen) McFarland, Branson, Steve (Loretta) McFarland, Seymour, Randall (Laura) McFarland, Marshfield, Lori (Wes) McClintock, Hollister, Angie Jones (Ward), Marshfield; grandchildren, Curtis (Danielle Appel) Davis, St. Louis, Drake Markgraf, Springfield, Garrett Markgraf, Springfield, Brady Markgraf, Springfield, Lily Dodd, Marshfield, Liam Brown, Hot Springs, Arkansas, Kylon Tarr, Buffalo, Kaden Tarr, Marshfield; great grandchildren, Everett Davis, St. Louis, Zephyr Markgraf, Springfield, Arbor Markgraf, Springfield; along with many, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.  

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024 in Seymour Masonic Cemetery, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield.
