Marcella Bernice Garrison

Marcella Bernice (Burney) Garrison was born July 8, 1933, in Springfield, Missouri to Rev. Dale Franklin Burney and Helen Mae Winters. She went to her Heavenly home on March 22, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri surrounded by her loving family.

She was known for her red lipstick kisses and hugs. Her smile and laughter brought joy to everyone.

She loved bowling, dancing, singing, Elvis, and books. She made the best cheeseburgers, spaghetti and meatballs and chocolate cake.

She worked at Zenith for 22 years and made many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, her daughter, Cathy Tindle, great granddaughter Macenzi Tindle, her parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and son-in-law Fred Liles.

She is survived by daughters, Kay Reeves-Liles, Coretta (Bob) Maggard, Marcy Hammers (Dennis Mork), Melissa Garrison, Christy (Fred) Morriset, 17 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 39 great great grandchildren, and 3 great great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at noon in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Interment will be in Holland Cemetery in Rogersville.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
