Roger Gale Hoy

Roger Gale Hoy, Marshfield, was born June 12, 1954, to Duwane and Ora (Burks) Hoy in Marshfield, Missouri. He departed this life December 19, 2024, in Cox Health South at the age of 70 years.

Roger grew up in Int'l Falls, MN where he enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, riding horses and water skiing. He moved to Alaska for a short time to work with his brother and then moved to Marshfield in 1991 to work with the start up of Carlson's Auto Body in Marshfield, MO. Since his retirement in 2016 he has been taking life easy, he was always ready to lend a hand when needed.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by one brother, Rodney Hoy of Cathedral City, California; one sister, Cheryl and Tim Carlson of Marshfield; two nieces, Carrie Hopkins of Springfield, Mindy Day and Mark of Marshfield; great nieces and nephews, Kendra Hopkins, Dylan Hopkins and wife Brianna, Carter Day, great great neices, Masyn, and Harper. He is also survived by a lifelong friend, Kathy Dunn of Minneapolis, MN. Roger will be missed in so many ways.

Graveside services will be held at Fordland Cemetery at a later date and will be announced by Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. of Marshfield, Missouri.
