Lois Marie Jones

Lois Marie Jones was born July 20, 1947, to Oren and Pearl Wilson. She had three sisters:  Birtha Wilson who died at birth and Laverne McKillips and Evelyn Collins, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was united in marriage to James Junior Jones on December 8, 1969, until his passing on May 11, 2011. Lois and Junior never had children of their own but had many nephews and nieces.

In her younger years, Lois loved going on trail rides and enjoyed camping and fishing. She also loved all things Elvis.

She was employed at General Electric for many years and developed close friendships there; most notably, Treasa, Teri, Rita, and Amanda. She enjoyed friends and neighbors, John and Linda and Butch and Virginia and Clarence.

She loved her many pets over the years but was especially heartbroken over the passing of her last dog, Buster.

Lois was little and feisty and much loved by many.

She departed this life December 25, 2024, at the age of 77 years.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
