R B Benson Laney, 94, of Rogersville, Missouri passed away on May 2, 2024, in his home. He was born in Oklahoma to Steve and Jewell Laney on November 21, 1929.

He married Opal Howard on May 13, 1951. To this union were born three children, Hubert, Marlene, and Ralph. He was preceded in death by Opal on June 21, 1998. R B then married Betty Williams on December 23, 2000; she passed away June 19, 2010.

He was a member of the Church of Christ and attended the congregation at Marshfield, Missouri. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his grandkids and being outdoors. He loved to watch birds, especially his martins.

R B was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; wife Opal and wife Betty.

He is survived by three children, Hubert Laney of Niangua, Missouri, Marlene Frazo of Fordland, Missouri, Ralph (Mary) Laney of Rogersville, Missouri; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, May 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time Monday.

Interment will be in Marshfield Cemetery under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
