Dominick Villapiano

Dominick Villapiano, of Strafford, was born December 16, 1964, in Chicago, IL. He departed this life on October 18, 2024, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 59.

Dominick was educated in Houston, MO and Chicago, IL. He has resided in the Chicago area; and Southern Missouri area, including Houston, Strafford, and Springfield. He spent much of his life in sales and finance, but also had a logging business, worked as a mechanic and welder, and more recently as a handyman. Dominick had the gift of being able to fix anything he put his mind to and his skills were very much appreciated by family and friends. Dominick also enjoyed playing guitar and played on worship teams and in bands when he could. His family will miss hearing him play.

Dominick was preceded in death by his parents, Dominick Villapiano, Sr., and Geraldine Villapiano.

He is survived by his four children, James Villapiano and wife Keena, Bethpage, TN; David Villapiano and wife Marina, Springfield; Hannah Villapiano, Springfield; and Cara Villapiano, Strafford; former wife, Patty Villapiano, Strafford; two grandchildren, James and Mason Villapiano, Bethpage, TN; two brothers, Bill Villapiano and wife June, Houston, MO, and Anthony Villapiano and wife Laurie, Gallatin, TN; two sisters, Alexandria Prisco and husband Albert, Eunice, MO, and Dina Cobb and husband Gary, Homewood, IL; and 9 nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Dominick Villapiano will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, Missouri.
