Charlesetta Lowe

Charlesetta Lowe, Marshfield, was born on March 4, 1938, in Webster County Missouri, to Charles and Lucy (Wheeler) Highfill. She departed this life on February 10, 2025, in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 86.

Charlesetta enjoyed word search puzzles, and playing in a bowling league. She loved spending time with her granddaughter. She was a member of Black Oak Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elvin Lowe; four sons, Michael Lowe, Mark Lowe, David Lowe, and Donnie Lowe; her daughter, Sharon Lowe; siblings, Ruth Clark, Dorothy Buxton, Mary Belle Romero, Loren Highfill, Neldena Highfill, Calvin Highfill, and Rex Highfill.

Charlesetta is survived by two daughters, Teresa McVay and husband Greg of Marshfield and Missy Lowe of Springfield; her sister Willa Posey and husband Jim of Springfield; and her granddaughter, Abigail McVay.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Friends and family may visit the funeral home at their convenience.
