Robert G. Marlin
Robert Gerald Marlin, Conway, was born in Coldwater KS on June 7, 1932, to Ira Wayne and Ethel (Gann) Marlin. He departed this life on February 10, 2025, in Webco Manor, Marshfield, at the age of 92.
Robert enjoyed working on his dairy farm. He grew corn and alfalfa to feed his own cattle. Robert also loved running the bulldozer. He enjoyed building and carpentry on his own buildings, as well as doing mechanic work on his own machinery. He took a lot of pride in being self-sufficient.
Robert had served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He was a member of Green Mountain Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Lou Marlin; his daughter, Sally Marlin; daughter-in-law, Dana Marlin; and his brother, Billy Keith Marlin.
Robert is survived by two children, Roger Marlin of Conway, and Karen Gorden and husband Brian of Conway; his brother, Larry Marlin of Conway; and two grandsons, Ben Marlin and Ira Cole Marlin.
Funeral services for Robert Marlin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, with interment following in Marlin Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday before services in the funeral home.
